Hebrews 5:1-4
For every high priest taken from among men is appointed on behalf of men in things pertaining to God, in order to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins;
he can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is beset with weakness;
and because of it he is obligated to offer sacrifices for sins, as for the people, so also for himself.

This is the spiritual example of dealing with people, I have failed in this many times. Gentleness is the weapon we use to deal with each other. We are also weak and we want God and others to deal gently with us. Gentleness is love pouring out on others!

Builder of the House

Hebrews 3:1-6 Message
3 So, my dear Christian friends, companions in following this call to the heights, take a good hard look at Jesus. He’s the centerpiece of everything we believe, faithful in everything God gave him to do. Moses was also faithful, but Jesus gets far more honor. A builder is more valuable than a building any day. Every house has a builder, but the Builder behind them all is God. Moses did a good job in God’s house, but it was all servant work, getting things ready for what was to come. Christ as Son is in charge of the house.
6 Now, if we can only keep a firm grip on this bold confidence, we’re the house!

The last few weeks I have been so discouraged by the response of the body of Christ in the elections. I have seen so many spears flying back and forth, all saying different things, but they share one common core. They all use the bible to back what they are saying and they all judge each other. I see the church in America tearing itself apart and over imperfect men.
Not long ago the Lord showed me a picture of Christians using the weapons of their old life in their new life. Can we instead come together and pray for our nation? Can we instead allow God to show us where we might be causing damage with our rights? Can we allow Him to show us where we are off on the blueprint of life and our inner structure He is building?

Jesus should be the centerpiece of every part of our life, He should be the center stage not the things that divide us. How He came and died to restore our relationship with God. That it is His sacrifice that cleanse us from our old ways of destructive behavior and allow us to live a new life. I pray that God put the one in office He wants, Which His word says He will, so that this nation can be restored to Him. But know that there is a president coming, in a coming election, that will be the worse yet and it will cause His church to turn to Him and only Him. It will bring the unity that is so necessary for the mission of GOD to be accomplished. Persecution is coming for everyone who claims Jesus as Lord and savior. Things are going to get rough and WHY??? Because the Church looks and acts like the world and has lost its power and way. Culture has shaped us instead of us shaping culture. Prayer is non existent unless it is to claim a blessing to make life easier. Lets make this the year we allowed God to change us and shape us into Bride. Lets make this year the year His power was evident in the Bride. Lets make this year that we are known for more of what we are for than what we are against. Lets Rise oh Sleepers and let Christ shine on us!!

Freedom!! It is something we long for and will invest great amounts of time, energy and resources into. In Christ we have been promised freedom but what is it for. In Colossians 3:12-17 we get a picture of why we have been set free. So we can put the things of Christ on and we can help others become free. We wonder now how we should treat others it is there. How do we keep freedom it is also in there. I am not going to sit here and give you a my five easy way to be free. But I will point you to a place in the Word of God why we are to be free! Go and read it yourself and let the Holy Spirit speak to you.

Prayer:
I have been thinking about prayer lately. I have done may of the things mentioned so this not a spear throwing rant but a deep thinking processing time. I wonder sometimes if we take a wordly view of prayer. We cry out to God and use the name of Jesus sometimes walking away fruitless. We remind God of His word thinking maybe that is the key. We have done the whole prophetic worship going all night crying out for God to move. Many times leaving unchanged in ourselves.
We know that in the Old Testament and New Testament there are many promises of God regarding prayer. We take it as a if we do this HE will do that. This is a legalistic/Immature view of God. We take the parts of the bible that fit the moment or our view and individually we are unchanged.
We start our prayer talking like we are trying to get His attention and we ramble on until we feel we have done our part.

What would happen if we walked into our prayer closet and just sat waiting on Him?
What would happen if after He told us His agenda we only prayed that?
What would happen if the concept of prayer was us being changed and not about getting God to change something?
What would happen if prayer was about us humbling ourselves and letting faith grow in us so we can believe?
What if our prayer for revival was more about us believing who God says we are and less about a sovereign move of God expecting it to change us?

May God help us to pray so that we would know HIM!!!!

Have you spent time with Jesus?

This morning I have a question, Have you spent time with Jesus and allowed Him to fill your heart with His love? How can we influence a broken world and lead them into the light if we have not spent time in the light? When we get into tight places we can either only pray about that, or we can spend time with Jesus and make Him bigger than the deliverance. I want Jesus so big in my life that I see Him instead of my lack, troubles, or bondage. IF I see Him as bigger than these things then they are not allowed to drain the life from me. Jesus came that we would have a fruitful joyful life in all things. Paul had found contentment in all things because Jesus was the biggest image in His life. I want that to have Jesus as the biggest picture in my life. Spring up oh well within my soul, spring up oh well and make me whole. The well that springs into our life is Jesus!!

This evening the Lord has given me a word for His church.
The last season many have wondered what I am doing, the season has been long and cold full of many challenges. Many feel like failures and that they have not accomplished what I have asked them to do. They have tried everything to hear my voice and step out seeing nothing come together like they thought. Many are ready to quit and go back to Egypt. Egypt is the old way of life before i brought new revelation and deliverance into your life. You think that because of this new revelation and deliverance it promised breakthrough. If I had sent breakthrough in the natural this revelation would not have been tested and buried deep within and caused you to grow and mature into the children I have called you to be. I looked out over America and saw many immature children using My name and not living the fullness of My name. They were playing in the street and watching those who did not know Me pass them by and they did nothing. I had to put compassion into my children and make them see the world around them. I had to change their perspective to something greater than themselves. The problem you are having right now is that you do not see the reward for what you have just gone through. Because you have not seen the deliverance and fruit you thought you would see you are loosing hope and are considering walking away from Me. You want to run to back Egypt. I am a God who has a long eye and I see not only the short time you are on the earth but also the time of eternity that you will be with Me. During these hard seasons you are storing up treasure in heaven and I am saving it for you. You are placing pillars into your children for future generations. So stop looking to Egypt but look forward into eternity and start to find everyone who does not know Me and stand in the street introducing Me to them. Cry out in the street and tell everyone about me like you do for sports, movies, video games or politics. A harvest is here not coming, it is here like America has never seen and My children quit playing and see all of those that can come with you into eternity. And know that I am a gracious and faithful God and you have great storehouses in heaven with the fruits of the labor for the season you where just in. The word for the next season of your life is HARVEST go and REAP!!!!

Hope Births Vision

This morning this came into my spirit, Hope Births Vision. I am sure that others have said this but I can say that I have never heard this. I am thinking about in God's economy. To have a vision from Him you have to have hope in Him to accomplish what He has said. Jesus said many times the Kingdom of God has come near. This was to bring hope and change their vision of Israel. They had waited for years for the Messiah and were missing Him, because Jesus came at a time of utter hopelessness and did not bring deliverance the same way the judges of the Old Testament had. God is always doing new things and we need to see a greater vision. The way He brought other moves of His Spirit or breakthrough is not the way He is going to bring it this time. We have to have Hope in a God of ever greater abundance and creativity. Is God the God of life and change or of death and stagnation?
